After more than 65 years of serving families in Stourbridge and the West Midlands with beautiful studio portraits, we have decided to now focus entirely on preserving and protecting your irreplaceable family memories.

 

Established in 1958 as Hart Photography (called Hart's of Lye by locals), we were a beloved family- run portrait studio for decades. Today, we proudly continue under the name Portraits by Hart - now fully dedicated to preserving and digitizing your treasured photos, films, videos, slides negatives and audio recordings

 

We continues to operate from the same Lye location, with the same personal care and attention. Every single project is still handled in-house by us — never passed to a third party.

We now specialise in expert photo restoration, panoramic restoration, slide & negative scanning, cine film transfer, video tape digitization (VHS, Betamax, Video8, Hi8, MiniDV and more), analogue audio cassette & reel-to-reel transfers, and memory card recovery and more.
