Over the last forty years or so we have gained a vast amount of experience in photograph restoration & old photo repair. We understand how valuable your old photo’s are to you. They may be the last photographs you have of your ancestors.

 

All of the photograph restoration work we do is carried out on our premises by our own retouchers who have over forty years of experience in photo repair. The same digital art skills we use to enhance our own portraits are also applied to breathe new life into your treasured old photographs. Our photograph repairers are trained in traditional retouching skills such as the airbrush. They know how to painstakingly paint back missing pieces until your restored photograph looks like new again. Because our digital artists are trained in the old ways as well as the latest digital photo restoration techniques, when given the latest computer technology they really know how to get the most from it.

 

Today we use a mixture of old & trusted photograph repairing skills combined with the very latest computer programs & technologies to restore photos to the very highest standards.

We can remove cracks and stains and eliminate many years of wear and tear. You may wish to have someone selected from a group and a new background added. It may be a more recent precious snapshot that would benefit from a little artistic help. We can even turn black & white photographs into colour by employing special colorizing techniques. We can even turn your own photographs and image files into wonderful digital oil paintings, canvas wraps, wall art. There’s a wide variety of wall and desk sizes to choose from & we make our own picture frames on the premises too.

All photographic & video to digital transfer services we provide are carried out in house by ourselves. We will never pass your treasured negatives, transparencies, video tapes & cine films on to a third party.

Many businesses & High Street chains offering these services do not carry out the work themselves, they forward it on to a third party. We carry out all of the work ourselves. When you hand your items over to us you are very often handing them to the person who will actually carry out carry out the work.
