One day back in the early 1960's William Hart took a delivery of cameras to sell in his photographic shop. They were manufactured in Japan. In those days most things Japanese were not thought to be of best quality. So, before putting them up for sale he walked the streets locally testing them out. Not realising at the time he was building up an invaluable record of the area. The area was about to change for ever and most of the streets he photographed were soon to be demolished to make way for "progress".

Our framed local views make ideal wall decoration for anyone with an interest in the area. We have supplied many for home decoration, business/office display and to public houses and hotels. Also a number of our images have been used in publications and books about the Lye and Black Country areas.
